The model is a direct recreation of the iconic cover art from the very first edition of the game, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader (released in 1987).
The Character: It depicts a Crimson Fists Space Marine Captain in a last-stand battle pose against an onslaught of Orks.
- Wargaming Details: The captain is equipped with classic retro gear including Mark VI "Beaky" power armor, a plasma pistol, and a power fist holding a severed Ork head.
- Scenic Base: The miniature stands on a heavily detailed scenic base insert representing the debris-strewn battleground from the original painting.
