Kettu Series: Modern Masters Trial

Team Kettu hosts a tournament series every year across multiple formats. There are 6 major events that end in a top-16 invitational. This is a Trial tournament, that provides a BYE at Finnish Modern Masters tournament on 22.2.2026 in Helsinki.

The remaining prizes will be scaled according to the number of participants.

Reserve your spot by signing up below. If we are full, you are welcome to come anyway and we will try to accommodate. Sometimes there are no-shows or the other events are not at capacity. Please be understanding our total space is limited however, the best way to guarantee a seat is to sign up early!

What is Modern?

Modern is the most widely played Eternal format. It allows any card from the year 2000 onwards, starting with 8th Edition and Mirrordin. It is home to the most powerful combos, the strongest aggro starts, and rock solid multicolor mana bases. It is a Pro Tour level format for the most experienced Magic players.
